They give you both a clear way to communicate and help your dog learn to make good choices. During training, we focus on the core skills every dog should know.
Advanced obedience builds on foundation cues, by adding distractions, duration, and distance to your dog’s cues, strengthening reliability in real-life settings.
- Attention & Name Response – teaching your dog to focus when asked.
- Sit, Down & Stay – reliable positions for calm behaviour.
- Loose-Lead Walking & Heel work. Walking without the pulling.
- Recall – coming back promptly, even when something more exciting appears.
- Polite Greetings – no jumping, or enthusiastic hellos.
- Leave It & Drop It – essential for safety and gales playing
- Settle/Place – encouraging calmness in the home and out in public.
