Obedience Training
Classes are enjoyable and fun for both you and your dog. We encourage all family members to attend including well behaved children over the age of 10. We do ask that one handler gives instruction as not to confuse your dog. Your dog MUST be comfortable around other dogs and humans and show no extreme fear or aggressive behaviors.
Why train your dog?
If owners get involved in their pets’ development and learning process, the chances of having a well behaved dog with no behavioral problems is greatly improved.
Private instruction is available in your own home or on site or off site locations. Not all dogs benefit from being in a group class and progress quicker in the comfort of their own home or when they are less distracted. Private lessons also work well for multiple dogs households.

Congratulations!
We highly suggest a private orientation lesson to set your dog off on the right paw. Without a plan things can go awry very quickly, often resulting in a misbehaving pup that creates anything but fun and comfort.
We will address all of the things a new dog owner needs to know, from potty training to safe socialization, nutrition, exercise, teething and crate training (just to name a few!).
ORIENTATION/LESSON 90 minutes – $170
Puppy Foundations
This class is a must for all puppy owners. We will teach proper socialization in a safe and fun environment while teaching you how to raise a confident and well adjusted puppy. Puppies will also learn manners while introducing simple obedience cues and trouble shooting any puppy problems.

Canine Good Citizen
Teach your dog to be the ultimate good citizen with this course established by the American Kennel Club. This class is a pre-requisite for any dog that will be pursuing a Therapy Dog Certification or for owners wanting a well mannered dog you can take anywhere with pride. This course has a 10 item test. Basic Obedience 6 months to “never to old to learn”
We will show handlers how to correctly reward their dogs through play, praise, life rewards and food rewards. It will teach your dog to give you attention as well as learning 9 additional behaviors; Sit-Down-Polite Leash Walking-Come-Settle-Leave it-Take it-Drop-it and Stay. We’ll teach you how to communicate with your dog in a way that’s both fair and clear developing a bond of mutual trust and respect between you and your canine companion.

TERRIBLE TEENS
The teen months can be a challenge for both puppies and their people. It’s about this time that your puppy is realizing there is a big world out there and learning to be more independent. The most important thing to remember is with continued training and lots of patience, the naughty behavior won’t last forever.this class we will go back to basics and work on problem behaviors such as jumping, not coming when called, leash pulling, leave things alone, place/stay and bringing your dogs’ attention back to you. We will also discuss and introduce different rewards for motivation.
OBEDIENCE AROUDN TOWN – 6 months and up
Want to do more after Basic Obedience? In this class we start raising the bar by adding either distance, distraction or duration. We will proof these behaviors with various real-world situations and games, filled with distractions and behavioral triggers, insuring your dog keeps his/her focus on you throughout. FUN CLASS!
6 WEEK COURSE- $780.00
Does your dog pull on a leash? Are you having trouble going for a pleasurable walk? Have you stopped taking your dog out due to extreme pulling? Is your dog choking himself? Are you frustrated? Dogs pull on leash for many reasons. This class will explain your dogs’ view of the leash and you at the end of it. You’ll learn lots of simple techniques to teach your dog not to pull. This class will work on focus, polite leash manners, auto sits, wait and down.
4 WEEK COURSE- $520
At the end of this course, your dogs’ recall will be significantly improved and you will have gained the skills and confidence to be able to trust them more off the leash, even around distractions. We will assess your dog and apply the best training method.
